[Pharo-project] Loading Polymorph
Latest Polymorph-Widgets versions (from 41 to 42) require the MC workaround to load/merge, unfortunately. Anything down to drawing... in this case the change to dropShadows. Regards, Gary
Ok I will have to check how we can integrate that. stef On Feb 10, 2009, at 5:54 PM, Gary Chambers wrote:

Loads from 42 upwards should be ok as normal. Polymorph-Widgets-gvc-45 now on SqueakSource with some lint related changes and a few other goodies ;-) Regards, Gary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stéphane Ducasse" <stephane.ducasse@inria.fr> To: <Pharo-project@lists.gforge.inria.fr> Sent: Sunday, February 15, 2009 2:53 PM Subject: Re: [Pharo-project] Loading Polymorph

ok do you imply that I should be able to push in the release the latest version without problem? Excellent! Stef On Feb 16, 2009, at 1:22 PM, Gary Chambers wrote:

When I merge simply the latest version it blocks the system with read banners everywhere. Should I patch MC before? Stef On Feb 16, 2009, at 8:24 PM, Stéphane Ducasse wrote:

Depends from which version you are migrating. Had no problems here, though was more incremental since I was testing (was one step at a time). Either try incrmentally or do the MC patch shuffle then. Though hold of for a few minutes while I make a new version fixing some things with the old MC browsers. Yes, I once implemented ScriptLoader>>loadTogether:merge:silently:, which suppresses the progress bar if the last argument is true. Adrian

Now I have a problem since I do not know whether the version of Polymorph which is published in Pharo is the ancestor of the one in UIEnhancements. Before I would merge and publish. Now I would have to copy the package and build manually script that silently load the packages. However, our script takes only pharo repository as input for loading packages. I could add the UIenhancement respository but do we want that? Stef
may be I should do may be I can do the following patch MC by hand load the code merge it and save it into pharo then create a script that load from the pharo I guess that it looks ok. Stef On Feb 17, 2009, at 8:48 PM, Stéphane Ducasse wrote:
