Where did Nativeboost Documentation disappear ?
I am trying to figure out Nativeboost for using dlerror() and I can find the documentation that used to be here https://gforge.inria.fr/scm/viewvc.php/PharoByExampleTwo-Eng/?root=pharobook... it used to be in pbe2 folder and then move there and then it was removed, or way moved somewhere i cant find it. Why ? Can you please bring the pdf back and link to it in the Nativeboost google code website ?
Hi Dimitris, yes it has moved. I said it in the commit log but did not provide the link. here it is: https://github.com/SquareBracketAssociates/PharoLimbo/blob/master/NativeBoos... Then, I probably do not have write access to the Nativeboost google code website. Cheers, Luc 2013/6/5 dimitris chloupis <thekilon@yahoo.co.uk>

Thank you Luc for the clarification . I agree with Igor , partial WIP documentation is million times better than no documentation ;) What about the pdf ? What tool you recommend for converting to pdf ? I downloaded a latex editor on Ubuntu but did not allow me to convert to pdf cause it complained that there was an error in the file. :( -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Pharo-dev-Where-did-Nativeboost-Documentation-disappea... tried also pdftex in ubuntu again it complains about errors in nativeboost.tex file :( -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Pharo-dev-Where-did-Nativeboost-Documentation-disappea... Sent from the Pharo Smalltalk Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

compiles fine here (with the usual 2 million lines of latex warnings) On 2013-06-05, at 14:30, kilon <thekilon@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:

can say why Camillo, all I know that both reported errors in line "/input" , i think its line 15 or something. All I did was to download the nativeboost.tex from github (via zip file) and open my ubuntu command line and do "pdftex nativeboost" and shown me the error. I am completely clueless how LateX works so maybe I am doing something wrong here. But no problem since I can now download the pdf instead and view it. -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Pharo-dev-Where-did-Nativeboost-Documentation-disappea... yes, you have to download the whole repository. The common.text contains, uhm, "common" commands and macros for the chapters ;) and you're not alone, I ran into that a couple of times until I got used to it :P On 2013-06-05, at 15:00, kilon <thekilon@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:

But it is the whole repository, there is no way to download partial github repository via zip file as far as I know. The file exist as I said in a parent folder, its does not really missing and its in the place it should be. To be precise I extracted the repository in /Home/Downloads/pharo-doc/PharoLimbo-master. In that folder I can see common.tex file. I run my command line from inside /Home/Downloads/pharo-doc/PharoLimbo-master/NativeBoost. -- View this message in context: http://forum.world.st/Pharo-dev-Where-did-Nativeboost-Documentation-disappea... strange.., this works for me: git clone https://github.com/SquareBracketAssociates/PharoLimbo cd PharoLimbo/NativeBoost pdflatex nativeboost.tex => open nativeboost.pdf On 2013-06-05, at 15:13, kilon <thekilon@yahoo.co.uk> wrote:
