And i wanted to thank Igor for designing such a nice framework! People should start to use Athens, apps around Pharo would start be look waaaayyy cooler. Shortly, i will prepare a video on Gaucho as well, showcasing a zoomable user interface built on top of Athens. Gaucho is the first user of Athens, but we hope many more projects adopt it. About that. Is it supposed to work outside of the Mac platform ? Tried the demo, and AthensDemoMorph new openInWorld crashes on "function unavailable". That backtraces into Block in NBFFICallout>>generateCall:module: where module seems to be '/opt/local/lib/libcairo.2.dylib' which is obviously Mac-ish but makes no sense on Linux. Where is the library name and location set/picked up ? I guess this question could be generalized to how the platform-specific initialization happens. As an aside, all NativeBoost-Tests are green. Yes, this should be platform-specific. We did it on Mac, not tested on any other platform. But it should work on linux without any problems, if you put a correct path to 32-bit version of cairo library in TCairoLibrary trait.
As an aside, all NativeBoost-Tests are green.

you running into similar problems that me.. since cairo having multiple dependencies, and uses other well common libs, they were already existed on my mac, before i tried to install cairo. So i had to rebuild them with +universal flag, because they were built only for 64 bits. btw, this is another answer to your question, about why i cannot just bundle prebuilt cairo library with VM and free you from dubious tasks of building it. because it depends on like 5 or 6 another libraries. So, bundling cairo library will mean bundling it together with all those libs.. So, maintaining such huge amount is not fun, especially taking into account that there are official maintainers for those libraries already, and they know how to deal with problems if one arises (like migrating from one OS version to another or updating them).
