Google Encourages Developers to Create Art Using Code
"DevArt is a new type of art. It is made with code, by developers that push the possibilities of creativity and technology. " what ? Making art using code is something that is happening since the very first steps of software evolution. Demo art alone is responsible for the advances in GPUs ,audio cards, 3d software and games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demo_(computer_programming) Great that Google is promoting this way of making art, and it looks like a nice competition. But promoting this as something fresh and new , is very misleading. On Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 10:27 PM, Eliot Miranda <eliot.miranda@gmail.com>wrote:
