Not on M1. I think the bug is hidden from most users because Pharo templates typically only have a few files and Launcher don���t reach the OS limit. However, with custom templates with directories full of files, it���s easy to hit.

IIUC the bug was fixed in P9, hence my interest in a P9-based Launcher - also generally I find it beneficial to have Launcher run on the latest release e.g. so I can update all my projects at once, including my Launcher extensions.
