I am inheriting from DarkTheme, why my theme would have this problem and dark theme would not , that makes no sense to me .��

looks like your theme does not define the backgroundColor for buttons. Therefore any UI with buttons will throw and MNU - even the debugger. Thats the reason why
you see this emergency evaluator window.
