Actually one *can* make the linux VM faster than the MacOS one on the same hardware using just the right version of GCC.��

But frankly the *easiest* way of doing that is for Pharo to fund the yearly license for using ��the Intel Compiler and provide a

one-click Intel compiler based VM.����
