Dear Pharo Team,

To try out version 13 I tried to follow the instructions on��https://pharo.org/download.

First I clicked on the download link for my system:��https://files.pharo.org/pharo-launcher/mac-x64,

I mounted the .dmg and dragged��PharoLauncher.app to my Applications folder.

When I started Pharo Launcher it did not show me the stable version for Pharo 13, just the development version, nor the Pharo 14 development version.

Then I tried the Command Line install:
curl -L https://get.pharo.org | bash

However, this still downloads Pharo 12.

I could not follow the instructions for the Pharo standalone install because the link to the 64bit Pharo image is broken.

Then I asked on Discord about Pharo Launcher and someone told me to delete the sources.list file in ~/Documents/Pharo as a workaround. So I was able to run Pharo 13 in the end.

However, I wanted to let you know about my difficulties anyway because newbies might run into the same problems.

Development Effort

This new version is the result of 698 Pull Requests integrated just in the Pharo repository.
We have closed 865 issues and received contributions from more than 70 different contributors.
