It happens all the time on Mac. It is not so obvious in the default Pharo image because of the background. In the Moose image, the background is white and you see it immediately when resizing or dragging a window.

If you are referring to a bit of window "left behind", I sometimes have that and other times I don�t (on Gentoo Linux). Sometimes it�s very annoying and persistent, other times selecting 'start drawing/stepping again' or 'restore display' makes the issue go away. But don�t quote me on that :)
