Yes, now I see. I was testing in the playground.

While this wont solve your problem, in my case I could use shift + alt + cmd + 5 to enter the square brackets.

The problem is that shift + alt + [ is assigned to ���previous���. It is a known problem that our shortcuts are not layout agnostic.

You can change the binding manually by opening the keymap browser, selecting the entry for ���previous���, right clicking on it and selecting ���browse definition���.
