Ok...now it seems to be working again. However, It takes MUCH more time than in Pharo 1.0. I really don't care too much, I just want to know if this is expected or not.

Sorry, I don't have time to dig into it...
But I think invent is a more appropriate verb than look in this case.
The ideas of Igor sound good to me, delegate some to CompiledMethods
and maybe use a mass becomeForward
