Works better like this:

"Load Spec if needed"
Gofer new
        url: 'http://ss3.gemstone.com/ss/Spec';
        package: 'ConfigurationOfSpec';
        load.

(ConfigurationOfSpec project version: #stable) load.

Gofer it
        squeaksource3: 'SpdPlayground';
        package: 'IconBrowser';
        load.
