no! I patched MC's caching behavior in many places, plus with the new
FS primitives you're pretty fast.
For instance, browsing the commit history is fluent once you have all the
packages in your cache.
AFAIK under 1.4 I added most of the optimizations as well, but I cannot
guarantee anything :P
